Using The NHS.!

Made good use of them yesterday and today, our weekly visit to the podiatry clinic in  Aintree. Our visit was for two o'clock and we just about got there on time, being a little bit late leaving the house. Didn't matter because  I had to wait  a few minutes before I was called in. Never mind waiting there they see you when they are ready. Had  the foot dressed again, mainly to prevent it rubbing or anything before it is done next week.
We had received a phone call some time ago to go to the village surgery for a medical review, and that was today. Originally it was supposed to be for eleven o'clock this morning but we got a phone call yesterday cancelling that and to go for two o'clock instead. That was a bit of a shame because we had planned to go to Costa after that for a coffee, but never mind.  We had our normal coffees at home then got ready, got there on time anyway, but it is only over the way so not a big journey! Saw an axtremely nice Doctor, very impressed with him, smiley face and a beard but not a huge big one, hate those!  We had said in the waiting room that he would say "What can I do for you?" and he did but we were laughing and explained why, said we had been called in for a review and they wouldn't give any more prescriptions without one. He was spot on actually, went through all of the medicines I was on, took some off the list and reinstated the statins because he said the cholesterol had dropped a lot so it was a no brainer really. Then he went through every one I was on and redid the prescription so everything is done now.  Plus he put me down for a review again in a year so that was a bonus, better than six months.
Home for lunch and little Jessie who just about raised herself she came in the middle room and immediately flopped down on the floor, Vin said she is having a rest, she is tired!!!
Hello! I know there isn't any cream cake today. What do you have for me?
