Off we went to Dobbies to have our free coffees for the month. A bit dull so not really good for sitting outside but got a bit brighter later on as the morning went on. Quite busy today, but had a good look round. Saw some more of the white cups that I bought the last time we were there, so decided to get another two to make the set of four. I like things in fours! They were even cheaper this time, £2 for a cup and saucer, the last time they were £2.80 or thereabouts. Quite a bargain actually.
There seemed to be something going on in their education house which is outside then we realised that it was a children's activity. While we were having our coffees inside there appeared a girl dressed all in blue with very blonde hair and a hair band and little black pumps, accompanied by a chap drGetting some nice stuff now.
Tonight we are having:
Pasta bake with a tomato and mascarpone sauce,
garlic bread for Vin
carrots and asparagus.essed in a tall hat with jacket and waistcoat. yes it was a mad hatters tea party by the looks of it. Lovely for the children. Jane would have loved things like that. She used to love activity things.
Had another bit of a mooch after coffee and Vin bought some candle things from yankee, and i got the cups and saucers and a box of shortbreads. Pity they didn't sell the espresso cups, but I have ordered those now from Amazon via another company. The david Mason Suffolk espresso mugs in the end. They have been dispatched so should be here soon I hope.
