Well we wanted to get some fishless fingers from Holland and Barratt today, so Vin tried ringing them up when he got up. No answer and no answer later either. not answering the phone it seems. So we decided to take a chance and go over to Ormskirk anyway. it is a bit of a trek but it's the only place that sells them. Nice journey there, quite quiet because a lot of the schools are back and that makes a difference.
Had a look round the centre, definitely not the same since the bon marche has closed..i do wish they would open one up again ! Dream on ! Vin said that the Samuels shop has closed as well, can't believe they have gone. ormskirk is getting really boring now.
Went into H&B and they had one pack left..so that will have to do. Got some more Vitamin B12 tabs.. don't know if they work but it's worth a try. Got some bits and bobs in Superdrug, and had a look round some other places. Bit boring to be honest.
Home via morrisons where we had our morning coffees, not bad there, but not up to Vin's standard ! Got some bits in there because we don't go very often, and home for lunch.
Jane rang up about twoish to say that her car had failed the M.O.T. Needs some welding, and something to do with the coolant system. She will get that done, and get the welding done by some bloke that the garage man knows. She reckons about four hundred altogether !!! Poor kid..i do feel sorry for her actually..no money and won't have for about two years or so. Hope she keeps going though.
Tonight we are having:
Pasta with a tomato sauce.
Garlic breaqd for Vin
Asparagus and other vegetables.
