Hares and Rabbits !!

What a difference a few days make. ! it's really cold today. No sitting utside with our morning coffees today at allo, far too cold. really blowing a gale and fresh as some people would say.
Saturday we didn't go anywhere, i got a parcel from M&S in the afternoon which was a new coat/lightweight mac for the cooler days. Good timing !  Vin washed the last of the sofa covers and got it outside where it dried a bit, good job done because it wouldn't have dried today I don't think.
Sunday he went off to Crosby to get some bits from B&M such as cat food which is quite good from there, and a few bits from Sainsburys.  Jane rang at lunchtime, she was in tesco's getting her stores in for the week. She has taken to going to the gym after work..this is at midnight or thereabouts, says it helps her sleep. Brave girl.

Sadly  the hanging baskets are coming to an end just now, they are getting very leggy. i can feel a trip to Dobbies coming on to get some replacements and of course our free coffees !
Just sitting here typing this listening to the Michael Ball show on  Radio Two, and he played a version of All I Ask Of You by Susan Boyle and Donny osmond. What a lovely voice that woman has. So clear and pure. Who can forget the moment that she appeared on Britain's Got Talent saying she wanted to be like Elaine Page, and everybody scoffed, then she opened her mouth and sang and she was !! Wonderful
Been a few trailers for Downton Abbey..you can tell the Autumn is coming. That and Strictly  and the X Factor..that's better, after all of the rubbish of the summer.
Tonight we are having:
Pizza with mushrooms and extra cheese,
green salad with baby plum tomatoes and avocaddo
potato salad and noodle salad.
