Every year we have a flutter on the National. Since it is up the road at Aintree is is very local. Not a horse racing fan, but it is difficult not to get involved with this race. Most of our horsed finished. VT got a third, and the highest one of mine to finish was sixth. But it is all good fun, makes it more interesting when you watch it, and we only do £1 each way.
Jane has just rung up on her new phone, which now takes emails, all singing and all dancing phones these days.
VT went into Maghull this morning to get a few bits, and he said it was quite busy, but it is a lovely day today, with the sun shining.
